In the Caspar Clinic, an experienced team of therapists and doctors accompanies you through aftercare. You train at home with the Caspar app, stay flexible, and are never on your own. Our digital therapy adapts to you and your daily life.

More than 60 therapists and doctors help you focus on your health. You get a dedicated point of contact who discusses your goals, tracks your progress, and is there for you. We follow the standards set by the German Pension Insurance and continuously develop our concepts based on the experience of many tens of thousands of patients. Therapy that fits your life
The Caspar app is your personal therapy plan for home and on the go. Train when it works for you and stay in touch with your team. You will find exercises, knowledge, nutrition tips and recipes, and relaxation content. You can share exercise feedback directly with your therapy team, including by video or chat. All Caspar Clinic processes are certified to DIN ISO 9001, which means high quality and safety for your digital therapy.

Forms of aftercare

Which aftercare program is right for me

Rehab terminology can be difficult to understand. Here are two key concepts. The Caspar Clinic primarily provides digital rehab aftercare within the multimodal concepts IRENA and T-RENA. While T-RENA focuses on physical therapy, IRENA offers a more holistic approach.
IRENA (Intensified Rehab Aftercare)
When several areas of health need strengthening, IRENA is a good option. You benefit from exercise therapy, stress prevention and relaxation, nutrition guidance, and professional support with motivation and integrating therapy into daily life.
T-RENA (Training Therapy Aftercare)
The right choice if you mainly want to build strength and address limitations in the musculoskeletal system with targeted training.

The requirements for aftercare

After rehab, it's important to consolidate the progress you've made. If your schedule needs flexibility or you live far from a clinic, you can continue aftercare from home. The Caspar Clinic makes such activities possible. Here is how it works.

Digital aftercare is especially helpful if fixed on-site appointments are difficult for you, for example, with shift work, long travel times, or family commitments.

Deine Ärzteteam bespricht mit Dir, ob Du an der digitalen Nachsorge teilnehmen kannst oder an einem Ort Deiner Wahl. Dabei wird berücksichtigt, wie Du wohnst, arbeitest und lebst. Wenn alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind, kann der nächste Schritt direkt vorbereitet werden.

Schon während deiner Reha in einer unserer Partnerkliniken kannst Du die Caspar App ausprobieren. Deine Therapeuten zeigen Dir, wie das Training funktioniert und worauf es ankommt. So startest Du gut vorbereitet und ohne offene Fragen.

Nimm am Entlassungsgespräch teil
Am Ende der Reha wird in einem gemeinsamen Gespräch entschieden, wie es weitergeht. Wenn Caspar für Dich infrage kommst, erhält unser Team alle wichtigen Informationen Direkt von der Klinik. Du musst dich um nichts kümmern.

I am quite excited about the exercises...
I can sleep on my left side again without pain and the inflammation in my hip is much better or completely gone. I still cannot hike more than five kilometers without pain, but I am very satisfied.

The exercises have all been doable and moderately strenuous. I can't get anything out of autogenic training, though. It is really fun with Caspar.

Overall, I found the digital rehab great
After six months [with Caspar], I'm much more mobile again and can easily do everyday tasks like housework and simple exercise again. My quality of life has improved enormously after six months, considering that for a year before, I could only walk with crutches.

The digital rehab has certainly helped me a lot, and I recommend it to everyone. You have a personalized program, can contact me at any time, and are also flexible with your schedule. Some exercises can even be easily incorporated into your daily routine, for example, stretching your legs while brushing your teeth.

I am very happy to have chosen this aftercare option and…
I'd like to report that since Monday of this week, after six months of illness, I've returned to my job in outpatient geriatric care, working four hours a day, using the Hamburg Model.

This is due in no small part to my consistent and regular use of the Caspar app. Without it, I certainly wouldn't have made this progress yet. I'm very happy to have chosen this aftercare option, as the benefits of using it are much more comprehensive and effective than those of a physiotherapy practice.

I've gotten used to the app's exercises.
During my inpatient rehabilitation in 2021, I discovered the Caspar app. I was skeptical about the professional supervision of rehabilitation sports and, at the same time, curious about how to use the app.

The physiotherapists provided expert guidance on the Caspar exercises during my hospital stay, and I felt well supported in using them. Without this support, I would have been unsure and sometimes wouldn't have performed the exercises correctly, especially since the exercises were changed weekly.

I felt very comfortable and very well looked after.
The time passed far too quickly, but I also achieved great success.

Now it's time to continue what I've learned and keep at it. The aftercare provided by the Caspar team was simply fantastic for me!

Minimal time commitment, training whenever and wherever it suits me, and excellent relaxation exercises were included. My requests were also addressed promptly. Today, I can say that my condition has improved even further.

If I have the opportunity again, I would of course choose Caspar aftercare.
